Pet Bee?

On the 24th of July, my brothers and I got a little bit bored. As such, we decided to make the most of our time by finding a new pet. First we tired a fly, yes a fly. However, the dang thing got away from us. So we tried something else- a bumble bee. Ah ha! Best idea ever. We caught him in a cup and taped a piece of paper over the top so he couldn't get out. We then had the grand idea to tie him to a leash so he couldn't get away. So we stuck him in the freezer to slow his heart rate down and give him a slight paralysis. After about 2 minutes in the freezer he was immovable. Fantastic! We proceeded to tie a string around his belly and put him in the sun. Once in the sun for a few minutes, he woke up from his ice-nap. Then he started to fly! It was the most hilarious thing ever to fly a bee on a leash! ha ha We couldn't stop laughing- that is until our dad came out and had a fit that we were "hurting" the poor bee. Since when did HE start caring about a bee's wellfare? He was relentless that we untie him and let him go. So to avoid future punishment we had to release our new pet... much to our dismay. But hey it was fun for the whole 10 minutes we had him. So here is a little video footage of our pet- flying around on his leash before his release... :)

Delta Reunion
